Too many things to process at once
Fire trucks, healthcare software startups, insurance, private equity, stock trading, skiing influencer, outdoor education volunteer, new golfer trying to break 80, startup advisor, and more. There is just too much that I am trying to do at once. It’s not great, but I do not know any different. Writing helps me process these ideas, and that’s what I hope to get out of making this blog.
Processing all of this data at once
Writing is the most efficient way that I found to process all of the ideas that are going on in my head. It forces clear, linear thoughts that are pulled from an amalgam in my head. Whether it’s ADD or something else, I think in concepts that allow me to abstract, reduce, and relate unknowingly linked concepts together, making me “creative.” It’s hard to explain, kind of weird, and, oddly, the je ne sais quoi that’s highly desirable among elite professionals. However, the day-to-day is much more of a struggle because the executive functioning to get this apparatus working in a clear, linear way that others can understand is incredibly taxing. Writing is one thing that helps.
Hoping this helps someone, but it may just be rants
Frankly, most of this is just processing my thoughts. Maybe it helps someone. Maybe it does not. However, if you think it’s interesting, then please subscribe.
Expect posts daily, except when I have nothing to say
I will write daily, but I will not publish unless I have something to say. In college, I was mentored to become a trader by a friend who was mentored by Wall Street celebrities, including Eric Bolling when he was on Fast Money. When he confronted Eric about bad takes, the response was, “[You’re on TV every day and you have to say something, even if there’s nothing to say.” I rather not say stuff for the heck of it.
Analysis from a theorist
Naturally, I am a theorist, and a metaphorical chalkboard is the canvas that I use. Most of the problems I write about are something I experienced or have on the top of my mind.

Thanks for reading this objectively “not great” post. I needed something to get me started.
